In collaboration with the Municipality’s Parks Department, and as part of the Saudi Green Initiative launched by His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Mitsubishi Electric Saudi Ltd.’s Makkah Branch took part in a tree-planting campaign, planting over 150 trees in a public park. The event was attended by branch employees, officials, and representatives from the Municipality.

The initiative aimed to enhance environmental sustainability and expand green spaces within urban areas. Tree planting was carried out in a structured and organised manner, ensuring that the selected species were suitable for the local climate and ecosystem.

By participating in this initiative, the Makkah Branch demonstrated its strong commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability. Planting trees in public spaces contributes to improving air quality, supporting biodiversity, and creating more enjoyable and healthier environments for both residents and visitors.

This collaboration between the Makkah Branch and the Municipality’s Parks Department also underscores the importance of public–private partnerships in achieving environmental goals and creating greener, more liveable cities.
